BAN VS SL ASIA CUP MATCH REPORT

The 5th match of the Asia Cup 2022 will see Sri Lanka facing off against Bangladesh on 1stSeptember at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by two wickets in their final group league game to progress to the Super Fours of the Asia Cup on Thursday.

The temperature is expected to hover around 35°C on the matchday with 45% humidity and 13 km/hr wind speed. There are no chances of precipitation during the game.

The Dubai Cricket stadium often produces matches in the vicinity of 160-170 and is not exactly conducive for explosive batting. The straight boundaries of Dubai are very short and the batsman takes full advantage of it. Some seam movement and extra bounce are also on offer here. On this surface, there is very little help for the spinners. It seems likely that the match will be played on a used surface, which means it might be a little more spin-friendly than tracks we have seen at this tournament. Temperatures will be scorching – likely in the low 30-degree celsius range, even in the evening.
